Summer reflection

Summer 2017 flew by way too quickly and I feel like I haven’t had time to process it. I quit a job, I took a couple months off work to spend with my son, started a new job, travelled to Florida and Las Vegas, sparked up many new friendships, spent quality time with my husband at the lake, and many other significant events that are too long to list.

I continue to put irons in the fire, but the hours in the day remain the same. This is something that I complain about when I’m in the moment, but when I have time to sit back and reflect I realize how truly blessed I am to be overwhelmingly busy. I don’t think I’ve said the phrase “I’m bored” in 2 years- and I am extremely grateful for that.

The next couple months are going to be a whirlwind, but I’m ready to take it head on- I’m traveling to New York City for business, my sister is getting married, a friend is getting married, my son has basketball games every weekend, junior league events are beginning to take over my life-and prep for Mistletoe Market should have already begun-on top of wholesale orders and holiday specials- I’m not sure how I’ll do it, but I do know I will no longer look at my full schedule as a burden or hassle, I will make a conscious effort to be present more often and I will count every single event on my calendar as a blessing.

Cheer to fall and packed schedules!!
